Video & music pioneers La Blogotheque have joined forces with Nokia to launch Lumia Live Sessions.

The group, a team of bloggers and filmmakers renowned for helping to launch the careers of a long list of musicians globally, have teamed up with Nokia to showcase new UK music talent at a series of free events across the nation.

The gigs will be supported in each case by local talent selected by Nokia in each city to let their own music reach a wider audience.

La Blogotheque team have pioneered the discovery of phenomenal talent for seven years now. Lianne La Havas performed for the blog in 2011 ahead of her Mercury Music Prize nomination and Alt-J filmed on the slopes of The Montmatre surrounded by tourists in July 2012 ahead of their Mercury Music Prize win. The Lumia Live Sessions tour will build on this legacy to shine a spotlight on the 'ones to watch' in 2013.'

The project is designed to highlight the Nokia Music app. The app boasts over 22 million tracks, has no adverts & requires no subscription and features over 150 pre-made playlists.
