Iggy & The Stooges announce SXSW showcase

Iggy & The Stooges will play SXSW in Austin next week for the House of Vans showcase at Mohawk on Red River.

Iggy & The Stooges with James Williamson on guitar will be releasing their new album 'Ready To Die' this month. The album is the first Iggy & The Stooges album since 1973's 'Raw Power'. 'Raw Power' was the only Stooges album with Williamson until 'Ready To Die'. The Stooges last played SXSW in 2007 to showcase 'The Weirdness'.

Iggy & The Stooges will perform at Mohawk along with Ghostface Killah, Japanroids and Sky Ferreira next Wednesday, March 13.
