Kelly Clarkson's single Catch My Breath has sold more than a million copies.

The 30-year-old song reached the milestone through downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

It has proven to be a good week for ex-American Idol stars with Carrie Underwood and Phillip Phillips' albums also remaining in the Billboard Top 200.

Kelly's latest success gives her the 11th million selling single of her career.

Catch My Breath was the lead single from Kelly's Greatest Hits - Chapter One compilation, released last November.

The star has had a hugely successful year so far, winning a Grammy Award back in February for Best Pop Vocal Album.

She is also busy planning a wedding to fiancé, music manager Brandon Blackstock, later this year.

However, the star has said she has somewhat of a blasé attitude towards planning her big day.

"I'm not the kind of girl to be a Bridezilla, I'm definitely not a Bridezilla, I'm the opposite of one,' she recently told People.

"I'm really nonchalant about a lot of things, like clothes or like weddings!" she added.

Despite her awards and record sales, Kelly said tying the knot is the thing she is most looking forward to this year.

"The thing I'm most psyched about in 2013 is my wedding,' she told the magazine. 'I never thought I'd get married so it's kind of cool that I fell in love and am getting married.'
