Perez Hilton is elated to welcome 'a beautiful and healthy baby boy' into his family.

The 34-year-old gossip king announced Wednesday on his eponymous website that his first son was born.

Perez, who is openly homosexual and single, revealed no details on the child's conception or who his birth mother is.

The tabloid columnist is thus far happily embracing his role as a father and is absolutely in love with his tot.

'I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy ' with lots of hair on his tiny head!' he wrote on PerezHilton.com

Perez is taking parenthood seriously.

He is committed to providing wisdom and encouragement to his son.
