Moore and Madonna on good terms

Madonna reportedly didn't snub her good old friend Demi Moore at all over the weekend.

The 54-year-old Material Girl and 50-year-old actress Demi have been pals since the 1980s.

Radar Online reported earlier this week that Madonna invited Demi's ex-husband Ashton Kutcher to her famous annual Academy Awards party over the weekend, leaving her girlfriend hanging.

Apparently these rumours are spurious.

According to Us Weekly magazine, the only reason Madonna didn't extend an invitation to Demi was because the leading lady was out of town.

"Demi was out of the country on vacation," the insider told the publication.

Two and a Half Men actor Ashton officially filed for divorce from Demi on Friday December 21. The 34-year-old star and Demi separated after six years of marriage in November 2011.

Shortly after their breakup in January 2012, a painfully thin Demi was admitted to hospital after suffering from a seizure.

Apparently she sought treatment for anorexia, among other 'substance abuse issues'.

Madonna is said to have been a rock for Demi throughout the actress' breakdown.

'Madonna told Demi she was there if she needs anything,' an insider revealed to E! Online at the time. 'They''re pretty tight.'
