Green Day to comeback at SXSW

Green Day will make their live concert comeback at SXSW in Austin, Texas next month.

The band was put on hold after Billie Joe Armstrong was admitted to rehab around the time of the release of the band's trilogy of albums last September.

Earlier this month it was announced that Green Day would premiere the two documentaries 'Cuatro' and 'Broadway Idiot' during SXSW.

Green Day will perform on Friday, March 15 at ACL ' Live at the Moody Theatre on Willie Nelson Boulevard in Austin as part of SXSW.

SXSW Music is on from March 12 to 17 in Austin.
