Promoters behind Hideout Festival launch Unknown Festival, Croatia, September
Last July Music News headed to Zrce Beach, Croatia to review Hideout Festival , with the subsequent write up ranking it as easily one of the best festivals of the summer. Small wonder then that tickets for this year’s Hideout sold out just weeks before they went on sale toward the end of last year.
Promoters behind the Croatian electronic festival have just announced an entirely new festival: Unknown to be held at Novinj, Croatia, 10th - 14th Sept. The project will be run in conjuction with a string of partners, including The Warehouse Project, Bugged Out!, Mulletover and others.
Sticking to a similar music format as it’s successful sister, the Line Up at this stage is electronic focussed, with a lean toward the melodic techno and electronica that provided the soundtrack for last year’s Zrce Beach Boat parties. Highlights include, Four Tet , DJango Django , Julio Bashmore , SBTRKT , Kerri Chandler , Todd Terje and a long list of other live acts and DJs.
The site itself is located 40 minutes away from Pula Airport and a few minutes from the Croatian town of Rovinj. Like Hideout, there is a package system in place with options of camping, VIP camping or 2-4 * Apartments.
