Chris Brown fulfilled his community service obligations according to an administrator at the organisation where he was ordered to volunteer.
The R&B singer is currently under a five-year probation for his 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna.
As part of his sentence, Chris was required to complete 180 days of community service.
Although the star received confirmation from police officials that he finished 220 service days, the Los Angeles District Attorney's office filed papers claiming that these supporting documents are fraudulent.
Now an administrator of the Tappahannock Children's Centre in Richmond, Virginia has come forward in defence of the singer.
Ida Minter told a TMZ photographer Chris volunteered at the organisation 'plenty of times'.
When the photographer asked who was supervising him the woman reportedly asked him to leave the premises.
The Los Angeles District Attorney alleges that Chris in fact did not fulfill all of his commitments. They claim that the star was even on a private jet to Mexico during one of the days he says he was contributing to the community and was performing concerts internationally during some of the other documented service dates and times.
The DA said there was no 'credible, competent or verifiable evidence' that his service was accomplished.
Chris' lawyer Mark Geragos accused prosecutors this week of 'making libelous statements' against his client.
'Apparently the District Attorney's office has completely lost their minds,' Mark told the Los Angeles Times.
Chris is also accused of five potential probation violations which include, testing positive for marijuana, fighting with Frank Ocean in January, failing to obtain a travel permit, damaging a fan's phone in Miami and throwing a chair through a window at the set of Good Morning America.
Chris was sentenced to five years of probation in 2009 and faces possible jail time should he be deemed in violation of probation. He could also re-do the community service he has already served.here to win an iPhone5!
