Ebony Day wins MTV Brand New 2013

MTV announce the winner of MTV Brand New 2013, and the wild card has come out on top as the first and only unsigned nominee, Ebony Day, has won.

Between Tom Odell, Haim, K Koke, Disclosure, Rascals, Little Nikki, Angel Haze, Kodaline and Gabrilelle Aplin - Ebony Day came out on top, proclaimed as the female Justin Bieber or Conor Maynard having wracked up 19million youtube views when she was ill and homebound, so started singing and uploading online.

Ebony Day and her manager took on the driving forces of the major labels and came out on top with the help of her mass fan base.

Ebony Day said - "I'm so overwhelmed that my fans have made this win possible for me! It's all down to their ongoing support and hard work that I have won MTV's Brand New of 2013 and I can't thank them enough. This is a dream come true for me, I've never been happier."
