Country’s Randy Travis has been sentenced to 24-months probation, a $2,000 fine and a 180-day suspended jail sentence after pleading guilty to drunk driving.

Travis plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of DUI on Thursday in the State District Court of Sherman, TX for an August 2012 arrest where he wrecked his car after hitting construction barriers and, when found by the police, was naked and under the influence of alcohol, later found to be at a level nearly twice the legal limit.

By taking a plea deal, Travis avoided a possible $4,000 fine and up to two years in jail.

Travis told reporters at the courthouse “I’m glad to have this behind me, and I’m looking forward to going out and making some music.”
