Adele’s boyfriend is apparently helping to soothe her nerves about her upcoming Oscars performance.
The singer is set to make an appearance at the glitzy ceremony on February 24, where her James bond track Skyfall has been nominated in the best original song category.
Having given birth to her first child with partner Simon Konecki in October 2012, the singer is still anxious about making public appearances.
"When she starts feeling nervous, she calls Simon immediately," a source told British magazine Closer.
"They speak all the time and, when she's feeling stressed, he just tells her how beautiful she is and how lucky they are to have their beautiful baby."
Adele has been reluctant to share her new son's name, but it was recently reported he is called Angelo James.
The star is apparently being encouraged by Simon to make the most of her time in the US as she waits for the big event.
"Simon's encouraged her to enjoy LA and get out and about as much as possible," a friend said.
"He knows she prefers to stay out of the limelight, but he wants her to have fun and not worry."
