Hotly-tipped quartet Kodaline – having been included in the BBC Sound of 2013 long list, MTV’s Brand New for 2013 and also having been featured on the iTunes and Shazam tips for 2013 – will release their new EP, 'The High Hopes EP,' on Monday 18th March.

Having previously debuted two tracks from the EP – a stripped back, acoustic cover of the LCD Soundsystem song 'All My Friends' as well as 'The Answer' that was premiered late last year –'High Hopes' finds the band at their most brilliantly anthemic, as a delicate piano intro slowly builds before bursting into life on a wave of crashing drums, echoing guitar lines and Steve Garrigan’s heartfelt vocal.

The video for 'High Hopes,' directed by Stevie Russell who directed the video for the band’s track 'All I Want' and which features Irish actor Liam Cunningham – currently starring in Game Of Thrones - can be seen below:

Having played a series of sold out shows in November, the band will embark on a UK tour in February, including an NME Awards show, calling at the following:

Thursday 7th February – York Fibbers
Friday 8th February – Edinburgh Cabaret Voltaire
Saturday 9th February – Coventry Kasbah
Monday 11th February – Brighton Green Door Store
Tuesday 12th February – Cambridge Portland Arms
Wednesday 13th February – Oxford Jericho Tavern
Thursday 14th February – London Dingwalls (NME Awards show)

Kodaline will also play their debut US shows later this month in LA at the Hotel Cafe on Monday 28th January and then at New York’s Mercury Lounge on Thursday 31st January.
