MTV UK & Ireland announce that public voting is now open for MTV Brand New for 2013 presented by Emporio Armani Diamonds.
Voting will stay open until 31st January via www.mtv.co.uk/brandnew with the overall MTV Brand New for 2013 winner announced on 1st February.
On 21st January, The Vaccines will headline an exclusive Brand New for 2013 showcase at the Electric Ballroom in Camden supported by nominees Tom Odell and Kodaline. To win tickets for this event go to mtv.co.uk/winvaccines.
The Vaccines are one of the biggest UK success stories of the moment. Last September they secured a number one album with ‘Come of Age’ followed by an extensive sell out UK tour. With an arena tour scheduled for the spring, last week they were nominated for the British Live Act award at the BRIT Awards 2013.
Tom Odell is one of the most talked about new artists around. Following his MTV Brand New for 2013 nomination, he recently won the coveted BRITs Critics Choice Award following in the footsteps of previous winners Adele, Florence and the Machine and Jessie J. His live show is not one to be missed.

Hotly tipped Irish band Kodaline complete the line-up following an amazing start to the year which first saw them nominated for MTV Brand New for 2013 before the BBC Poll of 2013 included them in their longlist. The band release their debut album ‘In A Perfect World’ and their new single ‘High Hopes’ on the 25th March.
