Courtney Love reunited with her estranged daughter over Twitter on Christmas.
The Hole singer has been estranged from her 20-year-old daughter with late Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain for three years.
Frances Bean Cobain got a restraining order against her mother in 2009 with her leaked testimony revealing she had accused Courtney of taking drugs and causing the death of family pets due to hoarding belongings.
The pair put their tumultuous past behind them, wishing each other Merry Christmas on the micro-blog.
“Merry Christmas Bean!! Love you more than you could ever know. Xmamma,” Courtney tweeted.
Frances responded a few hours later.
She took the opportunity to make fun of her mother.
“@Courtney merry Christmas kooksmcgee," she wrote.
Courtney has attempted to reconcile several times with her daughter over the years.
Famed for her bizarre Twitter rants, she took the opportunity to respond with three more replies.
“That tweet was the best gift ever, its all I need even if it’s a dammed social network J miss that little head of yours,” Courtney wrote.
“That beautiful little head, and those long legs. Oh and by the way, sorry about the second hand smoke thing re: baby pic," read another tweet.
Frances had not replied to the posts at press time.
