Janet Jackson is engaged to Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana, according to reports.
The 46-year-old singer began dating 37-year-old Wissam in 2009 after her split from longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupri.
The pair have kept their romance largely out of the limelight and it was claimed in late 2011 they were very close to making the commitment.
According to UsWeekly, Wissam proposed earlier this year.
“[Wissam] gave [Janet] a huge, expensive ring,” a source told the publication.
“She’s afraid it will get lost, so she keeps it locked up!”
The couple are believed to be planning a spring wedding in Qatar.
No expense will be spared, according to the tabloid.
"He is flying in all of Janet's friends and family on private jets,” an insider said. "He wants to get a top chef to create a custom menu."
Janet has tied the knot twice before.
Her 1984 union with James DeBarge was annulled the following year and she secretly married music promo producer René Elizondo, Jr. in 1991.
They divorced in 2000.
A spokesperson for Janet has yet to confirm the report.
