Conrad Murray has reportedly filed court documents for the second time asking to be released from jail.

The doctor is currently serving a four-year sentence at the Los Angeles County Jail after being convicted of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson.

Conrad has been in prison since he was convicted in November 2011 and has not held up well behind bars.

TMZ reports that the shamed physician appealed to the court to allow him to leave the jail cell. He is hoping to do community service for the remainder of his sentence or be locked down on house arrest.

In the papers Conrad claimed that he was not a flight risk, as he is committed to looking after the son he shares in Los Angeles with girlfriend Nicole Alvarez.

Conrad’s appeal to leave jail early has been denied once before.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Murray was worried he would die in jail.

The physician’s skin, nails and hair are all said to be declining and he has been complaining about terrible headaches.
