We are delighted to announce that Lianne La Havas’ critically acclaimed debut album ‘Is Your Love Big Enough’ has been crowned Album of the Year by iTunes.

To celebrate, Lianne will be releasing an iTunes Festival Edition of her album, which will include an additional three tracks (‘They Could Be Wrong’, ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’, ‘Au Cinema’) live from her Roundhouse show earlier this year and will be available to buy digitally from iTunes for £5.99.

Like 11 others, Lianne La Havas was nominated for a recent Barclaycard Mercury Music award – however, at the event itself it was only Lianne who managed to quieten the notoriously expressive industry crowd for a full 3 minutes so much so that you could hear a pin drop. As Lauren Laverne pointed out on her 6 Music show the next day, ‘the last person to do that was Amy Winehouse’.

Lianne no longer needs any introduction; her trajectory has been well documented. Her name has become synonymous with beautiful, soulful, emotive songs about heartbreak. Aged 22, her debut album reached number 4 in the UK album charts and she now counts Stevie Wonder, Prince, Erykah Badu, Bon Iver and Bombay Bicycle Club as fans.

The arrival of 2013 sees her announce new single ‘Lost & Found’. Due February, Lost & Found is perhaps the saddest song on her debut album. Lyrics tell the story of a destructive relationship: “You broke me, and taught me, how to truly hate myself. Unfold me and teach me, how to be like somebody else”. Disturbing yet beautiful, Lianne manages to touch the lives of millions and if this year is anything to go by, this simple ballad is likely to do just that.

‘Lost & Found’ follows recent singles ‘Forget’ and ‘Age’ both of which were championed across BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, XFM and 6Music.

Lianne La Havas will play her biggest headline shows yet next year and after selling out her London show in record time, a second Shepherd’s Bush Empire date on the 12th March 2013 has been confirmed, tickets available to purchase now.
