As previously announced, Conor Maynard will be releasing his brand new single ‘Animal’ featuring grime superstar Wiley, on January 21st.
A reworked and much darker version of the track from his debut no.1 album, ‘Contrast’, the video sees Wiley and Conor perform in a stark, industrialized space. You can watch the video, which premiered on VEVO this morning, here.
Over the weekend Conor performed in front of 17,000 fans at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball at London’s 02, and also appeared on ITV2’s Xtra Factor, where he sang acoustic versions all three of his top ten hits (‘Can’t Say No’, ‘Vegas Girl’ and ‘Turn Around’), alongside ‘Animal’ and a cover of Donny Hathaway’s ‘This Christmas’.
Conor has just been announced as the headline performer for the MTV Brand New for 2013 concert at London’s Kentish Town Forum on January 22nd. The gig will see him supported by two of the nominees on this year’s shortlist and follows him topping MTV’s Brand New for 2012 list at the start of this year.
