Katy Perry's parents have reportedly fallen for John Mayer's charms.
The popstar has been dating the renowned Hollywood ladies’ man for a turbulent four-month period.
Not only has the 35-year-old US singer managed to convince Katy he is no longer a commitment-phobe player, but he has reportedly also managed to win over her mother and father with his convincing display of love for their daughter.
"Katy's parents really like John, they prefer him over Russell," a source told British magazine more! "They thought Russell was too temperamental."
Just 12 months ago the world was shocked by the announcement Katy and her then-husband Russell Brand were splitting. Her parents’ acceptance of John could be the result of her new-found happiness following the torment of going through a painful divorce. Things between Katy and John are now going so well, they have apparently even considered moving in together to cement their future as a couple.
"John and Katy have decided to give it a proper go and find a place in LA to share," the source continued.
"She's happier than she's been in a very long time. She admits she rushed into it quickly, but is determined to follow her heart."
