Jonjo Kerr & the Military Wives released ‘In My Dreams’, today, the song they performed to great acclaim at the recent Festival Of Remembrance

At the Festival of Remembrance concert, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, 2011 X Factor Finalist Jonjo Kerr was honoured to represent the 3rd Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment, when he performed at the event alongside the Military Wives. Their performance of the Paul Mealor composition, “In My Dreams”,was specially adapted for the event and performed live in front of The Queen, members of her family and government ministers.

Due to the overwhelming feedback received since the performance, the Remembrance version is now available on download from December 3rd 2012. This moving and emotional track is performed from the soldier’s side, sending his love back home to his family, even though they are hundreds of miles away.

In just 12 months, Jonjo has gone from appearing on the X Factor to Afghanistan, only returning in September.

Jonjo said “This whole year has been a whirlwind and I am honoured to be a part of the track, In my Dreams, and having the opportunity to perform with the Military Wives”

The track can be downloaded NOW here.
