US super festival Ultra is coming to Croatia for 2013.
With a long list of awards including 'Best International Dance Music Festival' by the Ibiza DJ Awards in 2008, 'Best Festival' by the Village Voice Media New Times from 2005 through 2009 and 'Best Music Event' by the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) from 2005 to 2011, the US promoters now have mainland Europe squarely in their sights.
At a press conference in Zagreb, Croatia, earlier today, it was announced that Ultra Europe will take place from the 12-14th July across two locations: Split's Poljud Stadium for the first two days, followed by the Hotel Amfora Grand Beach Resort, Hvar for the final evening. The two venues lie just across the water from each other, with regular ferries available.
The first Ultra Europe is expected to attract around 60,000 attendees
Early bird tickets for the Poljud Stadium leg of the event will go on sale on Dec 5, at 40 Euros.
The initial line-up will be announced to press on the 12th of December
