Kelly Clarkson: I feel old

Kelly Clarkson can’t believe she won American Idol a decade ago.

The 30-year-old songstress triumphed in the TV talent’s show first season.

Kelly has since moved on to achieve international stardom and recognition for her music.

The star admits that she is often in awe of her illustrious career and how quickly time flies.

"It is really weird, though, because I'll be on a show and then people will be like, 'I voted for you when I was like eight!' " Kelly told MTV News.

"And I'm like, 'Oh, when you were eight? I'm so old!' "

Nicki Minaj hit the headlines last month when she was videoed yelling profanities at her fellow judge American Idol judge Mariah Carey.

Kelly believes that these types of feuds will be exciting to watch.

"I heard they had some argument," she said.

"Well, that will all make for fun TV, let's be honest!"

Kelly will release her new record Greatest Hits – Chapter 1 on November 19.
