Billy Ray Cyrus takes over as Billy Flynn in Chicago

Country star Billy Ray Cyrus has taken over the role of Billy Flynn in the long running Broadway show Chicago.

Cyrus stepped into the role on Monday night at the Ambassador Theater and will play through December 23.

While Cyrus has acted on TV before, most notably in the PAX show Doc and as his daughter, Mylie Cyrus' fictional father on the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana, this is his Broadway debut.
