Magic 105.4 can reveal listeners have voted Carly Simon’s hit ‘Nobody Does It Better’, as their best Bond sound track of all time.
The Grammy Award winning song from The Spy Who Loved Me was chosen by 1/5 of listeners polled who crowned the American with the top spot.
To mark the release of Skyfall, the 23rd Bond instalment, London’s feel good station polled its listeners to find out their top Bond tunes from the past 50 years.
Coming in at a close second with “Live and Let Die”, 17% chose Sir Paul McCartney’s iconic song from the 1973 film of the same name. Next, in bronze medal position, Magic 105.4 listeners went for every girls favourite, Dame Shirley Bassey’s unforgettable theme “Diamonds are Forever”.
In a surprise result, Adele’s new single Skyfall, the title track for the 2012 film release didn't even make the top 5, coming in at number 6.
