Britney Spears' ex-manager Sam Lufti declared in court Tuesday that he never supported the star's alleged use of amphetamines.

Sam has sued the pop princess and her parents for defamation and breach of contract.

Last week he claimed that his professional relationship with Britney and her family turned sour due to her abuse of Adderall.

TMZ reports that while Sam took the stand during trial Tuesday, he was adamant that he never in any way enabled Britney to use drugs.

He confessed that he does in fact have a prescription for Adderall to treat his Attention Deficit Disorder, but Sam insists that he never shared the pills with Britney.

The former employee was accused by Britney's mother Lynne of illegally providing the medication to the singer.

The trial remains in session and Sam will return to the stand following the court's lunch break.

The civil trial commenced last Thursday.

Sam is seeking 15 per cent of Britney's income over several months between 2007 and 2008.
