Rihanna's dad calls Chris Brown a 'super guy'

The father of Rihanna has called her celebrity thug boyfriend 'a super guy'.

Ronald Fenty, Rihanna's dad, has given his blessing for his daughter to marry Brown, despite the fact that Brown almost bashed her to death on the eve of the Grammy Awards in 2009.

Fenty told Life & Style magazine, 'Whatever makes her happy. I hope one day she will get married. Everyone adores Chris, he's a super guy.'

He also said his family loved Brown from the moment they met him and that he is 'extremely talented'.

Rihanna and Chris Brown were officially back together a few weeks ago.
