Green Day pull Voodoo gig

Green Day have pulled out of the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience following Billie Joe Armstrong's drug induced outburst at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas a few weeks ago.

In a statement Tre Cool said, 'Canceling shows is something we rarely do. We never want to let our fans down, and we are grateful for all of you being understanding during this time.'

Armstrong flew into a rage when he thought the Green Day set at iHeartRadio was cut short for Usher but it turned out he misunderstood the schedule. It was later revealed the tirade was drug fuelled. Armstrong checked into a clinic to seek help after the outburst.

The Voodoo Music + Arts Experience is on October 25 in New Orleans.
