Vocal harmony group Blake - Humphrey Berney, Ollie Baines, Jules Knight and Stephen Bowman - have announced that their new album 'Start Over' will be part-funded through PledgeMusic.

Blake join a host of established artists, including Gang Of Four, Martha Wainwright, Bruce Foxton, Charlie Simpson and B.B. King, in choosing to work with the Direct-To-Fan website. Fans are able to pre-order the album via PledgeMusic, along with pledging to buy a range of merchandise including signed photographs, musical scores and artwork as well as unique experiences such as a singing lesson, afternoon tea at The Ritz and, for the more active, even a polo lesson.

'Start Over', Blake's fourth album, consists of eight new songs (including three by Diane Warren) and four notable cover versions. Collaborating with Andrew Powell (no less than 20 number one hits including Wuthering Heights), Tim Ross, Nick Patrick (responsible for Blake's first and third albums), Simon May, Mark Swersky and Steve Greenwell, the album brings together the work of Blake and their distinguished collaborators.

For Blake, 'Start Over' is a new direction. It is undoubtedly a popular music album. There are few artists in the world of music that could combine classical singing with popular music singing. Blake is one of them.

A percentage of the proceeds from this pre-release campaign will be donated to the Variety Club.
