Rick Rubin produces new Lana Del Rey track

The new Lana Del Rey song ‘Ride’ was produced by uber-knob twiddler Rick Rubin.

‘Ride’ is the new song featured on the upgraded ‘Paradise’ edition of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Born To Die’ album.

Lana Del Rey has spent most of this year in reinvention mode after her disastrous live debut that forced the cancellation of her first tour and withdrawal from SXSW 2012.

After some much-needed media training and no doubt vocal lessons, the girl-of-the-moment pop star was let out on a well-controlled leash to make good her name.

A lot of product endorsements have also help fill the coffers. She is the face of the new Jaguar F-Type and fronts the H+M fashion chain ads in the USA.

‘Ride’ was written with her ‘Video Games’ collaborator Justin Parker and recorded at the Shangri-La studios in Malibu, California.

The ‘Born To Die – The Paradise Edition’ album will be released on November 9.
