Neil Young releases memoir 'Waging Heavy Peace'

Neil Young has released his memoir 'Waging Heavy Peace'.

For the first time Young is telling the story of his life from childhood in Ontario and his journalist father's influence on his love of the written word.

The book takes you through the stories of his first band The Squires, his first car (a hearse) and packing up and leaving Canada for California in 1966 where he co-founded Buffalo Springfield with Stephen Stills.

These days Young lives on a secluded farm outside San Francisco with wife Pegi.
