The Joy Formidable have been chosen by Muse as their support act for their arena shows in Europe through October 2012.

The band will release the first single ‘Cholla’ taken from their new album, Wolf’s Law, on 21 October prior to playing the following shows:

October
Wednesday 24th Glasgow SECC
Friday 26th London O2
Saturday 27th London O2
Tuesday 30th Birmingham LG Arena

November
Thursday 1st Manchester MEN Arena

In addition The Joy Formidable join Muse for shows in Spain and France.

Wolf’s Law is the second album from The Joy Formidable; the follow-up to their breakthrough debut The Big Roar which saw the band feted by the likes of Radio One, NME and Q as one of the most exciting new UK bands to emerge in 2010.

Mixed by Andy Wallace and recorded by the band in Maine, North Wales and London, preview track ‘ Wolf’s Law’ and first single ‘Cholla’ have already re-established the trio with NME suggesting that this album ‘could well see them become the next big British guitar band’.

With a phenomenal and well deserved live reputation and a similar sense of anticipation in the USA, where they have already sold out the 3000 capacity Terminal 5 in New York, these shows will be an early chance for fans to hear the new tracks prior to the release of Wolf’s Law in January of 2013.
