Pink says fame makes her feel like "a monkey in a cage".

The 33-year-old singer finds living in the public spotlight a strange experience. Although the downside to her celebrity status is the constant scrutiny, there are positives to being recognised as well.

"Being famous feels like being a monkey in a cage," Pink explained to British magazine Marie Claire. "But my favourite thing about being famous is getting reservations at restaurants. Hands down."

The feisty star revealed another perk of being famous. Getting tables at the best restaurants in town means you are more likely to bump into other famous people. Pink still gets star struck when she comes across celebrities she remembers as her childhood favourites.

"Michael Keaton from Beetlejuice [makes me star struck]," she explained. "I was sat three tables from him in a sushi restaurant and I couldn't even eat."
