Carson Daly is thankful his toddler son "is on board" for the family's new addition.

The TV presenter and his food blogger girlfriend Siri Pinter are due to welcome their second child, a daughter, in a matter of weeks. Carson revealed that the couple's three-year-old son Jackson is just as excited for the family's new arrival as he is.

"Our son is on board," Carson told US Weekly. "For a while it was like, 'Does he know another one is coming?' But now he talks to her and he's excited by her."

The Voice host explained that both his 31-year-old long-time partner and her baby bump are doing well. Carson admitted he is relieved that shooting for the hit TV talent show has finished allowing him time with his growing brood.

"Siri's doing great. We're so excited, I'm glad The Voice is done shooting right now… it will give me a minute to breathe," Carson laughed. "My focus is my family right now."

With everything on schedule for the birth in three weeks, the only other matter to arrange is preparing Jackson for his little sister's birth. Carson revealed the couple have been spoiling their first born with gifts. The sneaky presenter hopes buttering up his tot now will stop any jealousy emerging once the baby is born.

"We have been giving Jackson a lot of gifts - like Transformers," Carson admitted. "Just so he's already really excited for this young lady to come out."
