Hotly tipped guitar-pop band Lawson, celebrate the release of their new single, 'Taking Over Me', with free acoustic performances and signing sessions at two hmv stores starting at hmv's High Street store in Sheffield on Monday 6th August 2012.
Show time starts at 5.00 pm, after which the four-piece band ' Andy Brown, Adam Pitts, Joel Peat and Ryan Fletcher ' will remain at the store, to meet fans and sign copies of the new single which is released the same day though Polydor/Global Talent.
Next up the band head to hmv's Northumberland Street store in Newcastle on Thursday 9th August 2012 for another in-store performance and signing session kicking off at 5.00 pm.
'Taking Over Me' will be the band's second single to date following their debut, 'When She Was Mine' which reached number 4 in the Official UK Singles Chart.
Lawson have already opened shows for acts such as Will Young, Avril Lavigne, and The Wanted on 'The Code tour', playing venues such as The O2 Arena.
This year, the band supported Westlife on the final dates of their farewell tour as well performing at T In The Park.
