Christina Aguilera "can't wait" for fans to hear her new material.
The blonde star took to Twitter to share her excitement about the tracks. Christina promised her followers that they will be able to hear her latest work by the end of the summer, over two years since her last album was released.
“Just wrapped up another great studio session - WOW,” Christina exclaimed to the social networking site. “Seriously can't WAIT for you guys to hear what I've been working on!!- Love u guys (sic).”
The pop star has recently taken a break from recording and has been focusing on her TV career as a judge on The Voice. Her long-awaited return to the charts will be with an upbeat dance track that Christina produced with the same man responsible for hits by Britney Spears and Katy Perry.
“Aguilera is working hard on the follow-up to 2010's Bionic, and a new single is expected to be released in early August,” a source recently said. “The club banger was produced by Swedish pop hit-maker Max Martin, and its chorus is built around the line, ‘All I want to do is what you wanted.’"
