NME today announces the artists to perform on the new NME Generation Next tour.

The new music showcase sees three of the most exciting acts on the planet tear through 11 UK towns across October, giving music fans the chance to get upclose and sweaty with the stars of tomorrow.

Howler’s frenetic live performances and brilliant demos caught the attention of the legendary UK label Rough Trade, home to The Smiths and The Libertines.

Fresh from releasing their new album, ‘Family’ Dublin-based newcomers The Cast of Cheers are second on the bill.

Completing the bill are Brighton-based Gross Magic, the brain-child of the hugely talented Sam McGarrigle, whose blend of lo-fi nostalgia recalls the carefree adolescence of Beck and early Nirvana.

The tour starts in Bournemouth on 19th October, and ends at The Haunt in Brighton on 31st October.
Tickets for the NME Generation Next tour go on sale on www.NME.com/tickets on Wednesday 1st August at 9am, and then generally on Friday 3rd August. Tickets are priced between £10-12.
