Liam Fray tells Xfm.co.uk about follow up to Falcon.

Liam Fray from The Courteeners has told Xfm they're hoping to release their third album before the end of this year.

"Well, the album's done - the album's done and dusted. It's mixed... getting mastered next week I think," he explained to Xfm's Gordon Smart backstage at T in the Park.

"We took a long time writing it but that's definitely a good thing - I think Falcon... I wouldn't say we rushed it... but we didn't necessarily pore over any decisions," he continued. "It sounds... well what am I going to say? It sounds amazing!

"It's pencilled in for the end of September - that's an exclusive"

He was talking to Xfm's Gordon Smart at T in the Park up in Scotland at the weekend.
