Chris Brown and his entourage reportedly “looked like they had been through a war zone” following the fight with Drake.
The R&B singer and the rapper are said to have clashed in New York City nightclub WIP in the early hours of Thursday morning.
According to Radar Online, before the skirmish began, Drake sent a note to Chris’ table stating, “I am f**king the love of your life,” in reference to Rihanna.
Mutual trash talking took place, and Chris and his folk sustained extensive injuries in the brawl that ensued.
“[Chris got] eight stitches as a result of the bottle that was thrown at him by Drake, as several eyewitnesses told the NYPD,” a source told Radar Online. “Chris is going to be OK, and he had to get a tetanus shot as well. His bodyguard Big Pat suffered a nasty gash to his head, and got at least 20 stitches and a tetanus shot. Chris' girlfriend, Karreuche Tran, had some glass fragments removed from minor cuts she sustained as a result of the melee. All three of them were bloodied, and looked like they had been through a war zone.”
Chris kept the note and gave it to his lawyer Mark Geragos who submitted it to authorities.
“The NYPD are in possession of the note,” the source disclosed.
