Katy Perry and new beau 'loved-up teenagers'

Katy Perry's rumoured new beau has reportedly been 'on her radar' for some time.

The American singer was seen smooching Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd at California's Coachella music festival last weekend.

The pair apparently got to know each other via singer Florence Welch.

Katy split from her husband Russell Brand last year and so felt the time was right to see if she had any chemistry with Robert.

'Rob has been on Katy's radar ever since she got to know Florence, but she was married to Russell then,' a source told Grazia magazine. 'It's only recently that they've started hanging out ' sparks have flown and they finally hooked up at Coachella.'

The new couple were seen holding hands and snuggling up as they watched bands at the annual event.

Their amorous display amazed many around them.

'Katy and Rob were acting like a couple of loved-up teenagers,' an insider laughed.

'They couldn't keep their hands off one another. At one point during Gotye's performance, Katy finished smoking a cigarette, spritzed her mouth with breath freshener, grabbed Rob and started kissing him again.'
