Even though their appearance at Britain's Sonisphere Festival was cancelled, Queen with Adam Lambert out front still plan to play four shows in Europe this summer.

The first June 30 in Moscow while three additional shows are in the process of being scheduled and will be announced soon. One will be with Elton John in Kiev while the other two will be in early July at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. The band says that the London shows were an attempt to allow those who were coming to Sonisphere to see them an alternative venue.

Roger Taylor told Billboard "We're really excited about it. Adam... of course he has this unbelievable range, like Freddie had range. Adam can really cover it. He's an extraordinary singer and a real talent. I feel he fits into our sort of theatricality."
