Ted Nugent to run for US president

Look out President Obama, Ted Nugent is out to get your job.

Well, at least he is on this week’s episode of The Simpsons. Ted will seek Homer Simpson’s endorsement as a Republican candidate to run for President in the show to air Sunday night in the USA (and probably around 2015 in Australia).

This is the second time the Motor City Madman has been named checked on the show. He first appeared a few years ago in Season 19 briefly in a phone-in in Season 19’s episode “I Don’t Wanna Know Why Caged Birds Sing”.

Ted also has his own show ‘Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild’ seen Tuesdays and Sundays on the Outdoor Channel in the USA.
