Foo Fighters kicked off their Australian tour in Perth last night with a setlist featuring 22 songs from across their entire catalogue and a few covers as well.
Foo Fighters performed Pink Floyd ‘In The Flesh’, Queen’s ‘Tie Your Mother Down’ and Tom Petty’s ‘Breakdown’.
It was only recently that Foo Fighters performed ‘In The Flesh’ for the first time with Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters on American television. Taylor Hawkins is the big Queen fan in the band. He recently put together Queen’s ‘Deep Cuts Vol 1’ compilation. For ‘Breakdown’ they were joined on stage by Jack Black of Tenacious D.
