Sean Lennon and Rufus Wainwright sing Madonna to protesters

Watch Sean Lennon and Rufus Wainwright perform a cover of 'Material Girl' for the Occupy Wall Street protests.

The musicians keep coming to the Occupy Wall Street protests, from Die Antwoord to Kanye West to Jeff Magnum from Neutral Milk Hotel to Katy Perry to Pete Seeger, all to stand up for the 99% and get a little publicity and cool cred into the bargain.

Now Rufus Wainwright and Sean Lennon have shown their support in a typically ironic manner.

NME reports that the duo hit the homebase of the protests, Zuccotti Park, along with some guitarists and an accordion player, and belted out a frantic cover of the vapid Madonna hit (with a little help from a lyric sheet).
