Erasure will release a new album, Nightbird, in January.
Singer Andy Bell says the album will be "happier" than their recent previous releases.
Bell, who with his partner in the band keyboardist Vince Clarke, embark on a UK tour next Spring, he told MTV,
"The last couple of albums were a bit moddy and down. I'm so much happier with everything now and so is Vince."
Titles of tracks include the first single title Breathe also due in January as well as No Doubt, Here I Got Impossible Again and All This Time Still Falling Out Of Love.
Nightbird is the first studio album from Erasure since 2000's Loveboat.
Erasure release a DVD titled The Tank, The Swan and The Balloon Live!, on November 22 including many of the duo's singles and footage of their Manchester Apollo 1992 concert as part of their Phantasmagorical Entertainment Tour.
The duo are also planning a US tour in support of Nightbird.
Their UK and Irish tour begins at Belfast's Waterfront Hall on February 24 and includes concerts in Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, London, Nottingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Preston, Portsmouth, Bristol, Wolverhampton, Norwich, Cardiff and wrapping up at Hull City Hall on March 21.
