Nirvana's "MTV Unplugged" performance is to be released on DVD for the first time, it has been confirmed.

The live collection, recorded in New York City, was originally released in November 1994, six months after Kurt Cobain killed himself.

The landmark release will include four new tracks from the group's soundcheck, alongside previously unreleased behind-the-scenes footage.
