Doherty gives the art world a bloody nose

Pete Doherty is to display his very own artwork at an exhibition in his honour at the Bankrobber Gallery, in London’s Notting Hill, from Tuesday 15 May. However, the exhibition has a twist. The paintings will include works created using the artists own blood, as well as pen and pencil.

The Babyshambles front man will exhibit 14 original paintings and prints and are rumoured to be on sale for up to £2,500. The exhibition will run for one month.

Gilbert and George have used faeces in their art, and the Blue Man Group paint spit pictures. Anyone for ear wax modelling?
