Jackson fails to deliver

Michael Jackson returned to the stage at a starstudded World Music Awards in London last night (15th Nov), but only managed to sing a few lines of his hit We Are The World.

In a night that saw grandiose performances from Beyonce, Andrea Bocelli and Katie Melua Michael failed to impress.

Jackson was at the event to collect a Diamond Award for selling more than 100 million albums. But what was billed as a spectacular comeback for the world's biggest star fell flat. Fans were left disapointed in what amounted to a lipstick performance.

King of pop? Yeah, of course but not on this performance.

But other hot gossip on the night involved a Music News member, Nelly Furtado and an ice cream. The ice cool queen of pop told MN 'I always read the news on Music News'. Yeah, right. Still she showed her support by offering up signed cds for all our readers, keep your eyes peeled.
