THE MOLOTOVS have been causing a stir in the industry's nether regions over the past few months with their arched, articulate take on British Pop which mixes together the likes of The Kinks and The Maccabees with the thrills and spills of our overseas cousins Arcade Fire and The Walkmen to cook up a heartily euphoric storm.

This upbeat live favorite featuring horn stabs, glistening guitars and calypso rhythm is sure to warm your cockles on these cold winter nights.

Rather happily they have also been plucked from the teeming ITC hundreds who recently flooded the streets and ears of Manchester to star at 2009's Best Of In The City event, which looks something like this:

Club Fandango & Camden Bars present.THE BEST OF IN THE CITY

In which a choice selection of the bestest bands from In The City 2009 are brought together to play across three venues on one night in Camden. That night is TUESDAY NOVEMBER 3rd 2009 and those shows look something very much like this:

THE MOLOTOVS + DUTCH UNCLES + CITIZENS + LANGUAGE
CAMDEN MONARCH (40-42 Chalk Farm Road, Camden NW1 8UR)

NEW ISLANDS + I AM BLACKBIRD + THE CORDELIER CLUB
CHALK FARM ENTERPRISE (2, Haverstock Hill, Camden NW3 2BL)

THE CROOKES + OLFAR + NADINE SHAH
THE CAMDEN HEAD (100 Camden High Street, Camden NW1 0LU)

Tickets for each show are a snippy snip at £4.00 per venue or a £9.00 wristband for all three gigs is available from www.monarchbar.com/events
