ROXETTE are reportedly in discussions to stage a comeback.

The Swedish duo took a break from music 2002 after singer Marie Fredriksson was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Fredriksson reunited briefly with bandmate Per Gessle in 2004 to celebrate the group's 25th anniversary, while both were subsequently concentrating on solo projects.

But Gessle has revealed that a comeback is a big possibility.

He said: ' think we will do that, one way or another, maybe not touring but one way or another I think we're going to do something together.

"I don't know when, but I can't really see any reason why not. It's just a matter of what Marie feels comfortable with and what I'm doing at the moment, so I keep my fingers crossed.'
