Red Hot Chili Peppers recording

When Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante said:

"the official news is just that there's no plans to do anything and we're on a hiatus of an indefinite length. There's just absolutely no plans to do anything and, that's it. Yeah, we worked really hard for ten years and, you know, there's other things in life."

Well it seems music is just too hard to resist.

Dance producer Paul Oakenfold has revealed to take40.com that he is currently in the studio working with the LA four-peice on a new track for his latest album.

"I'm working on a track I've done with the Red Hot Chili Peppers (for my album)" he said. "I'm trying to find a sound for the record; I'm looking for dirtier rougher rhythms with strong songs".
